Thank you for taking the time to visit our club website. If you are new to Lions then we sincerely hope that through this site you will gain an insight into the work carried out by Lions Clubs International, but more specifically by Canterbury Lions Club. We hope you will return from time to time to see what's new and on our agenda.

Canterbury Lions Club was founded in 1965 and although autonomous, is part of Lions Clubs International - the largest community service organisation in the world.

Lions are members of community service clubs, dedicated to the idea that the men and women who live in a community are in the best position to know who needs help and why.

More than 46,000 strong, these local clubs are part of the world's largest service club organisation, with over 1.3 million members serving in more than 200 countries. The association is both non-political and non-sectarian.

The running costs of Canterbury Lions Club, like those of all other Lions Clubs, are met by subscriptions paid by the members, so all monies raised from the public are used for charitable purposes.

Canterbury Lions Club is a friendly and active club consisting of men and women of all ages and walks of life who care about their community. Our members are a group of fun loving people who enjoy raising funds to help others.

Our regular business meeting is held at 19h30 hours on the first Tuesday of each month at The Golden Lion, Mayton Lane, Broad Oak, Canterbury.

Please get in touch either by calling us on 0845 833 7364. or by emailing us at:- enquiries@canterburylions.org.uk if you would like to visit.
